Southampton Boat Show - What's Going On?

Southampton Boat Show is fast approaching and yet again The Green Blue has a packed calendar. This year the theme will be recycling with Dee Caffari officially launching our recycling scheme on Friday 12th September at 3.30pm on the RYA/BMF (E052) stand. We will have lots of useful advice and information to help you improve or start recycling in addition to our usual advice on more environmentally friendly boating practices on our stands. As ever we will be on the RYA/BMF stand (E052) but also in the Sailing Networks Bar, so come and visit us to get the latest information and find out about the other exciting events we are running.

Setting up a recycling scheme?

Dan Reading, The Green Blue’s Recycling Officer will also be running masterclasses on how to set up a recycling scheme in your marina or club. Setting up recycling schemes is not just environmentally friendly; it also makes good business sense cutting the cost of waste disposal by up to 45%. The masterclasses will take place on Thursday, September 18 at 2.30pm and 4pm in the Winchester Room of the Holiday Inn, Southampton.
